A chance is taken with BEAUCHAMP WIZARD ahead of Keys Of Cyprus and Myfrenchconnection. Gerard Butler's charge presumably hasn't been easy to train but he has run well on all four career starts and may be able to follow up his Kempton success on his latest start in August. He appears to have been fairly handicapped and should appreciate the step up to a mile. Keys Of Cyprus clearly has to be feared having won his last two starts impressively and a 6lb rise for his latest success at Ayr is far from prohibitive. Those wins came on soft and heavy though and it remains to be seen if he can cope with the rise in the weights on faster ground although it should be noted that his winning debut came on quick ground back in 2005. Myfrenchconnection has been wonderfully consistent this season and ran well to finish second to Grey Boy at Kempton on his first all-weather start. The revised weights give him sound claims of reversing the form and his consistency is a point in his favour. As far as the winner is concerned though, we'll take a chance with the unexposed Beauchamp Wizard.
