DR JAMESON, Bea Menace and Glowing Praise form our shortlist for this contest with the first-named getting the nod. Richard Fahey's charge hasn't enjoyed the best of luck in his short career and could have been done more favours by the draw on this occasion but is taken to overcome that negative and open his account. He was no match for a couple of smart individuals on his second start but he then had the misfortune to be drawn on the wrong side at Doncaster and could only finish third despite winning the race on his side. There will be no such problems at this venue with a field this size and he can gain a deserved success. Bea Menace ran a fine race at Haydock over six furlongs in a contest where the field split; she looks sure to improve for the experience and the extra furlong on offer here and is the obvious danger to the selection on that showing. Things are rarely that straightforward though and Glowing Praise and Ucantmissme both showed promise on their respective debuts at Newmarket and Great Leighs; the Newmarket race was probably the stronger of the pair and also featured Quick Single so it will be worth keeping an eye on him in the earlier contest. The race appears to revolve around that quartet and we'll take Dr Jameson to make it fourth time lucky.
