Papua is tentatively nominated ahead of Danish Decorum and Six Pack. Nigel Hawke's charge has a good record around here and while he is getting towards the veteran stage - his latest effort at Taunton was encouraging and it is to be hoped that a return to two miles will suit. Danish Decorum is without the benefit of a recent run. He was a desperate disappointment when second to Good Lord Louis on his last run at Hereford and life will hardly be easier off this mark. The form of Six Pack's last racecourse outing was boosted by Tiger Frog's recent victory. The firmer the going the better he is. A comment that equally applies to Barnard Green. Vigoreux's better form is with significantly more cut in the ground so tonight is something of a leap in the dark. Lubinas did not stay three miles at Wetherby and is hastily returned to two. Of the remainder, Jodante has ability although he has never quite achieved what his potential should have allowed. Some well exposed performers but Papua's exploits in the past warrant him due consideration in race five.
