A valuable seller with no shortage of interest from Martin Pipe but Grand Manner and Kristoffersen could prove too strong for his block entry. Grand Manner secures the nod on the evidence of his run at Huntingdon in March. A ready if not too willing winner on that occasion, he was following up an earlier effort at Catterick in a better contest a couple of days earlier. If he stays the trip, he could prove very difficult to beat. Kristoffersen has been dropped seventeen pounds since his last racecourse appearance. Ian Williams' is a past master of patching up unsound horses and this does represent a tremendous drop in class vis-a-vis some of his novice form. Earn Out would warrant consideration on an earlier Fontwell run over 2m5f. Nice Baby is visored for the first time while Downtherefordancin is a thorough monkey in every sense of the term. Diamond Joshua seems to have been resident in every stable outside Bethlehem. That said, if he can be persuaded to turn in his effort, he is a lively outsider. Caper is exposed but game at this level. Bonnyjo and Sninfia are noted on a drop in grade and are watched in the market. In the absence of market information, Grand Manner gets the verdict.
