Several hold claims: not least Bollin Greta, who is a tough and reliable mare that can make a bold bid to gain a deserved first win of the season. However, SIMPLE JIM is also a real tough cookie and makes more appeal on these terms. He edges the vote as the one to be on. Tillietudlem and Hi Dancer are a couple of others with claims on the pick of their form and they help to make this a competitive event. The last pair are closely matched and it will be interesting to see how the tactics unfold. A truly run race would suit Tillietudlem and he may hold the upper hand in that personal battle. However, in the quest to find the winner, it's the in-form Simple Jim, who appears to hold all the aces and get the nomination today.
