CALL TO ARMS has been banging on the door lately and the perseverance of his connections can be rewarded as he is eased in grade today; Smalljohn is effective at this level and is respected as a threat, while Prime Circle arrives here in good form and, along with Daring Dream, can play a strong role if getting the breaks in running. Most of the others have been struggling to find their feet this season and are in danger of becoming frustrating to follow. Therefore, it can pay to side with Call To Arms, who has fewer miles on the clock than most and, given that he has held his own against a better calibre of opponent recently; this may be another one in the bag for the Mark Johnson team. It's also worth noting that Call To Arms was a cosy winner on his only previous try over this trip.
