SENNOCKIAN STORM ran a blinder at Ascot last time out and her proven fitness gives her more appeal than Hamloola, who posted a respectable effort when introduced at Doncaster last November but she hasn't seen a racecourse since; Shethoughtshewas heads the list of dangers lurking amongst the rest. The last named has experience of racing at Thirsk, which can only be a positive fact. She does, however, need to step things up a few notches to trouble the selection. Hamloola was slowly away when she made her debut on Town Moor and never really got competitive as a result. Her pedigree suggests she has the potential to make a nice three-year-old and it will hardly be the end of the world if she needs the outing to bring her on. However, the time seems right to keep faith with Sennockian Storm, who will find this a much easier assignment than last week's near miss in Berkshire. Mark Johnston's filly has the profile of previous winners of this race and it would be no surprise to see her schedule become a bit more hectic if she lives up to expectations.
