REDDY TO STAR is taken to break his maiden tag in the first division of this race, with Philosophers Stone among the dangers. The Julie Camacho-trained pick has been dropped to a mark of 68 since his last run, and that looks attractive based on his public form so far. A strongly-run 6f should be ideal, the ground is not a problem, while the yard is in decent form, so we will give him one more chance. Philosophers Stone is interesting after a pleasing Southwell debut, now switched to turf. He has been given a month to come on for that run and could go well, although he could have been better drawn. Hot Spark will be popular among punters, with the best official rating of this lot and the potential for improvement after just four runs, though he has to prove it on this ground, while Powerful Pierre is another with claims, although he would ideally want it quicker than today.
