SPIN AGAIN has solid claims, and aided by the low draw gets our support in preference to Glendinning and Just The Tonic. David Nicholls has won three previous renewals of this race, and Spin Again comes here with the best recent form, albeit at Southwell. He has done well previously on turf though, so we're not concerned about him handling the ground. Just The Tonic won at Redcar recently and carries a 6lb penalty as a result, but still gains weight from all his rivals. Glenridding won over course and distance off a higher mark last year, and was narrowly beaten last month, so also has to be respected, again from a low draw. Silly Gilly also has course and distance form, albeit over a year ago and the judge hasn't been troubled in 15 subsequent runs. Chuska's lightly raced and a first time visor may help her. However, preference is for Spin Again.
