TRADING will find this a fair bit easier than the maidens that he has so far contested and we think he can take advantage at the main expense of Hayley Cropper, Thakeham and Alhoni. The selection has shown improvement for both his first and second outings and should be suited by trip, ground and also his high draw today. With the yard in good form he may well be capable of breaking his duck. Hayley Cropper has already done that, winning a Redcar maiden claimer over 6f earlier in the month on ground described as good. She had a fair bit in hand that day, so she should make a good go of trying to concede weight to the selection today and she is respected. Thakeham has had four starts to date, including a decent effort when beaten by the useful-looking Sweet Cheeks in a good seller at York last week. That looks good enough to get him heavily involved. Alhoni went well in a Beverley claimer last week and is another going the right way, but preference is for Trading.
