LORD AVON looks the one to be on here, while Dolly Parton, Sergeant Suzie and Mappin Time are among the dangers. The selection made a bold bid to win a better race than this at Windsor last time, just fading at the business end to be beaten two lengths into fourth. He has a very good pitch here towards the nearside rail, acts on the ground and in this company he may well be capable of hanging on at a track that favours the speed merchants. Dolly Parton has course and distance winning form, landing a maiden here last time on faster ground. She is sure to be in the shake-up again if handling conditions. Mappin Time was a good ground Beverley winner in April and comes here freshened up for a short break. With the yard going well she looks capable of being there at the business end, while the same goes for Sergeant Suzie, who made all to win a Ripon maiden on debut and looks a serious danger. Waking Warrior has claims based on an easy Fibresand success if he is as effective on turf, and despite wins last time both Sacrosanctus and Molly Mylenis will need to improve to win a race that can probably go to Lord Avon.
