A competitive contest this, with all bar two having won at the distance, and we'll side with DESTINY'S DREAM, in preference to Bergonzi and Hel's Angel. Tracy Waggott's had three wins from 11 runs here this season, including Destiny's Dream last time out, over course and distance, albeit in a much smaller field, when she squeezed through to win with a bit in hand. She's gone up 3lbs for that and gives weight away to all her rivals, but seems fairly treated. Bergonzi was narrowly beaten at Catterick last time out, but the drop in grade will aid his cause today. Hel's Angel was a narrow winner last month, also at Catterick, but has gone up 4lbs for that. A number of these are hold-up types, so Lyra's Daemon may be able to crack out and attempt to make all; she's Willie Muir's only runner on the card, and he'll be at least looking to recoup the cost of the diesel with some place money. Steel Trade is yet to win in 15 attempts and steps up to this trip for the first time. That could prove handy, as he can be slowly away. Last time out he finished with a rattle over a mile and a quarter, and market support should be noted. However, preference is for Destiny's Dream.
