Dancing Deano may still be good enough to finish ahead of Elusive Warrior here, but both may have to give best to the in-form Sularno, who is taken to land the lucky last. Sularno has gone up 10lb for wins here over a mile and also at Great Leighs. Admittedly he has not raced over this shorter trip for some time, but with the extra weight on his back he might be better suited to a strong pace over shorter now, so Hughie Morrison may be able to contrive to complete a hat-trick with him. Elusive Warrior gives Dancing Deano 1lb here, after previously trying to give 5lb to the same opponent and suffering a five length defeat. The gap should close here, and both can get heavily involved over their optimum trip. Megalo Maniac is back down to an attractive mark and has a c&d win here to his name, so from a yard that continues to hold its form he could run a big race. My Mentor is another interesting runner, but this is a marked drop in trip and his pace must be a doubt, and we are happy enough to side with Sularno.
