      Verdict

This could be the day for Altitude to break her maiden tag and she can do so at the main expense of Starfala and Blue Citadel. The selection is stepped up in trip here from 10f and that could be the key to success. Still only lightly raced, the Green Desert filly is related to plenty of winners over this trip, and after a nice pipe opener at Redcar a couple of weeks ago, she should be spot on for this. Starfala is another who we could see improve a fair bit for the step up to 1m 4f. Paul Cole's filly has not been seen since August, however, so you will have to take fitness on trust if deciding to play. Blue Citadel is rated slightly higher than the selection and has plenty of stamina in the pedigree. This slower of the artificial surfaces may suit so he can be competitive. Lemonesse is open to plenty of improvement and showed up well at Leicester last time, so provided she handles this surface at the second attempt she could get heavily involved. Roman Legion is yet another who could come on for this test of stamina, while Beaujeu is an interesting newcomer, but Altitude is the one for us.
