    Verdict

An open contest to kick off the card and Mystickhill is the suggestion to get the better of Our Kally, Mujahope and Jalons Bridewell. The selection put up a decent enough performance on the polytrack at Wolverhampton last time and acted well enough on this surface on debut in April. From the same mark of 51, he is a few pounds better off with Our Kally on that recent Dunstall Park run and should be able to reverse the form with Mark Usher's filly and get her nose in front. Mujahope has been gradually dropped back to this trip from 10f over a series of runs and, not surprisingly, was staying on at the end when third over this trip at Redcar last time. The gelding should be thereabouts if handling the surface, which may help bring his stamina more into play. Carmine Rock needs a look in the market on her handicap debut after three maiden runs resulted in a low enough mark of 52, trained as she is by handicap specialist Reg Hollinshead. Jalons Bridewell acts here and over the trip so is respected, but at these weights he looks beatable by our selection Mystickhill.
