A competitive sprint and Sohraab is our selection to land the opener with Strike Up The Band and Chartist the dangers. It seems incredible but Sohraab's victory at York last time was his first success on the turf but on that evidence, it won't be his last. Jimmy Quinn will need around two stone of lead ibn his saddle for this race but he is deserving of keeping the ride and a 5lb rise for hi recent success does not look harsh. Strike Up The Band is a likeable enough sort. He isn't the force he once was but he will be always dangerous if securing a pitch on the speed. Chartist can be given claims on a solid second to Look Busy at Chester and has run well previously over course and distance. Ebraam is better known on the artificial surfaces but his stable are in good order at the moment and it would be no surprise to see him go close. Tabaret isn't particularly flashy but is consistent while Osiris Way hadn't run for six months before his victory at Salisbury last time. This is a step up in class but he has earned it. Crimson Fern has been busy over the last few months and is battling against a career-high mark. Sundae would not be out of this if any overnight rain arrives but SOHRAAB ticks all the right boxes in this contest and we side with him.
