Flying Lady, Maid For Music and Fong's Alibi make the shortlist here with Maid For Music taken to make it third time lucky after two promising placed efforts. Maid For Music showed great promise on debut at Haydock, chasing home the talented Undaunted Affair but failed to build on that when run out of it in third at Pontefract next time. However, the second, On Offer, won a classy affair at Newcastle next time and the form may prove better than first glance. Flying Lady was one place and three and a quarter lengths behind Maid For Music at Pontefract but appeared to step up on that form when beaten just over five lengths into fifth in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. That was a fine effort but the field was only eleven strong and some may over-estimate it. Fong's Alibi stepped up on a disappointing soft ground debut at Newbury to be placed at Lingfield, albeit at a remote distance. He can reach the frame again. Maid For Music can lead them home.
