Verdict

Quotation, Tina's Best and Maybe I Will are the trio to look at here with Maybe I Will taken to complete a hat-trick. Quotation showed good form on fast ground on her debut as a juvenile but she was beaten when made favourite on her re-appearance here, perhaps finding the ten furlongs beyond her, weakening in the closing stages. Back on fast ground and over two furlongs less she can be seen to better effect. Tina's Best has been plying her trade at a lower level, and seems much more exposed. However, she won with authotiy at Lingfield on fast ground two outings ago, and though she has consequently gone up the weights she should not be overlooked. Goodwood winner Mekong Melody was outclassed in a good race next time but should not be discounted, while Maybe I Will is looking to complete a hat trick after a fast ground success last time over this trip. That was only a weak affair but there are question marks over her opponents, and receiving weight from her serious rivals, Maybe I Will is worth supporting here.
