New Jazz opened her account in maiden company at Yarmouth recently but had been beaten off today’s mark in a handicap earlier and NORMA is preferred. The latter faded badly when favourite on slow ground at Goodwood last time but had gone close over 1m2f at Salisbury earlier and James Fanshawe’s filly gets another chance now handicapping for the first time. Miss Blondell should be sharper for a recent return to action at Newbury and Nooshin attempts a longer trip having returned a losing favourite on several occasions this year. Mrs Meader finished closer at Windsor last time but Cabarita looks no nearer winning.
