MACHO TIME made a winning start at Ayr earlier in the month with a subsequent winner back in fourth. Normal progress could see Karl Burke’s colt defy a penalty and get the better of Cruising. The latter has placed in all three starts and returns to this longer trip fitted with first-time headgear having gone close over track and trip earlier. That form gives him the beating of York fourth Dutch Decoy, who drops in class for this. The remainder with experience are harder to fancy while the newcomer Cold Light Of Day is bred for further.
