Amy Collier teamed-up with Thornaby Nash to land last year’s running but the latter has won several time since and is now 14lb higher. Ascot Week failed to cope with a rise in the weights for winning at Ripon when well beaten at Epsom recently and a chance is taken on FIRBY despite dropping down in trip. The latter was beaten only a length over 1m2f at Ayr under Rachel Taylor last time having recovered from a bad stumble and should go close with normal luck in-running. Fieldsman won under today’s rider at Leicester last month and Abushamah could also go well.
