Verdict

Execlusive made a winning start in handicaps when scoring at Bath and is preferred to stablemate Sneaky, despite a 6lb rise. But RETURN TO SENDERS went close in a tougher contest than this at Ascot on his earlier handicap debut and looks worth a try over the minimum trip after a narrow-margin defeat back in novice company last time. Beignet was beaten by Execlusive earlier and Charlemaine at Brighton before that and the latter has been set stiff tasks since. Headgear is fitted today and he’s preferred to Royal Council and Interrupted Dream now handicapping.
