Verdict

Muraad was beaten only a head at Ascot on his handicap debut with previous course winner Pesto back in sixth. Owen Burrows’ grey should make a bold bid but MAAMORA (NAP) is preferred. The latter faced a stiff task in the Sandringham at Ascot on her first start handicapping and Simon Crisford’s filly should find life easier in this having beaten a subsequent winner six lengths in maiden company earlier. Solid Stone drops down in trip having struggled since winning over 1m2f on his reappearance while Smile A Mile returned a losing favourite at Ripon having won at Yarmouth before that. The remainder all still look high enough on the weights.
