      Verdict

Riot has gone close over course and distance in both outings so far. But he surrendered a clear lead on his latest start when caught close home by Laser Show and the latter’s yard take him on again with DUBAI SOUQ. Saeed bin Suroor’s colt will need to improve on a debut fourth at Salisbury but is taken to do so. Tammani is another likely to finish closer today after a modest debut at Salisbury and Wild Thunder will be more at home here having struggled in Group 2 company last time. Tinnahalla is a half-brother to six winners and preferred of the newcomers.
