In a very competitive heat, Indian Trail is selected ahead of Marozi and Dazed And Amazed. Indian Trail looked unlucky in running when third in the Great St Wilfrid handicap last time and a two pounds rise for that still makes him attractively weighted to our eyes and he has a good draw today. Marozi is very well-regarded by his trainer and could still be well-weighted off a mark of 86 following his Goodwood win. Turning to the others and Rowe Park has had a fine run, although a nine pounds rise since his good Listed run will test him today. The Tatling remains well weighted if recapturing anywhere near his best of 2006, while the handicapper has Dazed And Amazed about right now following fair Group and Listed runs and his chance is respected. Out After Dark is competitively weighted if anywhere near his best, Fantasy Believer has dropped to a very good mark and will win a race like this one day, the lightly-raced Oldjoesaid warmed up for this with a very good Salisbury six-furlong run, Corridor Creeper is on a fair mark if extracting a somewhat rare better performance now, and Tony The Tap has competed well in valuable handicaps this season. For the selection, though, we will side with Indian Trail.
