Some potentially very good two-year-olds line up for the Solario Stakes, with the best of them suggested to be Raven's Pass ahead of City Leader and Maze. John Gosden and Jimmy Fortune are having a great season and this can continue with the impressive Ascot Listed winner Raven's Pass. City Leader looks to have a promising future based on his impressive Ascot debut win, while Gaspar Van Wittel might give an idea as to the value of the form, having finished ninth in the July Stakes last time. Maze looked smart when winning a Listed race at Ascot gamely last time and is respected, while Yem Kinn might run well at a price from an in-form yard. Finally, Aidan O'Brien's Belgrave Square has to get a mention, although he comes here as a maiden after two starts. Once again, then, the selection is Raven's Pass.
