Drifting Gold looks worth opposing from stall 14, and we will do so with Coconut Moon who is preferred to Kay Two and Bahamian Ballet. The selection is a course specialist and the case for him getting his head in front is further enhanced by the fact that he has the plum draw in stall 1. He has been placed on his last two visits here, he has also won here and he has ground conditions in his favour so he looks primed to run a big race. Drifting Gold has the ability to win this but he will need plenty of luck to score from his outside draw. Bahamian Ballet has never run here before so it remains to be seen if he handles the track and after a string of consistent efforts we suspect the handicapper may now have his measure. Kay Two has a good draw but he is best with some some cut in the ground, while Handsome Cross, Racoon and Desert Dreamer are others that have been done no favours by the draw. Cosmic Destiny has got stall 4 here which will give her a chance and this in-form mare could represent the each-way value in the race. However, Coconut Moon looks to have everything in his favour and he can land the prize and add to the recent good run of the stable.
