In the opener, Sweet Lilly is selected ahead of Heaven Sent and Italian Girl. Fifth in the Group One Falmouth and fourth in the Group One Nassau Stakes this season, Sweet Lilly arguably boasts the best form on offer here and, with her French Group effort on soft last time being forgiven, she can go well in this lIsted contest, even though she is dropping back to a mile today. Twice placed at Group level this season, Heaven Sent represents a strong stable and also should be granted plenty of respect. Bicoastal could be considered if getting back to her French 1,000 Guineas seventh-paced form and, having run solidly at Group level in her last two races, Italian Girl also comes into the reckoning. Best of the others might prove to be the Pontefract Listed winner Expensive, and the first-time blinkered Chantilly Tiffany. For the selection, though, we will stick with Sweet Lilly.
