A wide open seller where it would be prudent not to part with too much in the way of cash and where Orotund looks to have a winning chance, with Diamond Hurricane on for the short list alongside Almora Guru and Tenterhooks. Orotund gives weight away all around and on official ratings that does not look advantageous, but he is proven over c&d, he is in better form than any of his opponents and he comes from a yard who continue to send out winners, and this can be another one. Diamond Hurricane won over both this trip and the minimum last year in minor company but has been given too much to do in handicaps off marks in the 70s and this is his first taste of selling company and he could go close with the drop in class. Almora Guru won a minor handicap at Yarmouth in April but has shown little form in that company since and again, the drop in class should see him go closer. Meanwhile Tenterhooks has not won in 15 attempts so far but she doesn't do too badly over this trip and might sneak a place in the frame, but little else appeals and Orotund looks good enough to score.
