Ella Woodcock can probably do enough to land this open finale, with Tom Paris and Mark Of Love shortlisted and plenty of others with chances. The Jamie Osborne-trained selection held off Awwal Malika over 7f at Folkestone last time and although he has once tried 9f, this is first go at a mile and it can pay dividends now. Improvement seems likely and he can maintain a consistent run of form to score. Tom Paris gets every yard of this mile and appears to act on any ground. He wasn't far away last time off this mark and the same can occur here. Mark Of Love has enjoyed a decent campaign over a mile but just looks a shade too high in the weights despite today's 1lb drop. Coppergirl was the easy winner of a poor maiden at Yarmouth over 10f last time and is therefore difficult to assess making a handicap debut from a mark of 70, but if pedigree is any guide then this drop back in trip should suit. Moheebb got off the mark at Carlisle last time and confidence will be improved for that but the gelding will also need to step up again to win here and that is debatable. Of the remainder Bay Of Light is slipping to a more favourable mark and Peter Chapple-Hyam does well here, so watch the market for clues, but Ella Woodcock is our selection.
