Verdict

Nothing leaps off the page in this so we'll give another chance to PEA SHOOTER. Backed into favouritism last time at Catterick, he had no luck in-running yet still came home just over a couple of lengths behind the winner. Though inconsistent, he remains capable of picking up a prize such as this. Jofranka may need the run but Margrets Gift has every chance of playing a prominent role if putting a strangely muted effort at Musselburgh behind her. Captain Whoosh could also go well off a career-low mark.
