Verdict

CRIMINALISTIC finished in front of Vestavian when third at Wolverhampton on his debut. He never threatened the winner, but neither did Heraldic when beaten seven lengths at Musselburgh last month. Charlie Appleby's colt gets the nod to open his account as Golden Hello went backwards on his latest start. The newcomer Trikingdom is a half-brother to a couple of winners in this country, including the prolific Esprit De Midas, and is worth a second glance in the betting.
