    Verdict

Of the three joint top weights, Al Nehayy appears to have received harsh treatment on what has been achieved in ordinary maidens and Shalabina has hardly beaten a rival home the last twice. She's better than that if judged on previous efforts but the jury is out at present. In contrast, SEARCHING (NAP) clearly reveled in stepping up half-a-mile in trip last time at Chester with a narrow success, suggesting he'll stay further again. He's sure to come on after only a quartet of starts and can follow up with stamina assured. Multellie is developing into a solid and reliable middle distance handicapper for Tim Easterby so the Multiplex gelding looks the main danger.
