A mark of 93 may be the limit for Tiger Reigns so preference here is for DUBAI DYNAMO ahead of Exit Smiling and Sunnyside Tom. Ruth Carr's gelding played up at Chester last week where he got loose and was withdrawn. That might suggest that he is on great terms with himself and his running-on fifth to Osteopathic Remedy at Thirsk would suggest that as well. He holds Exit Smiling on that run, but we mustn't discount Paul Midgley's gelding as he is a course and distance winner and still looks fairly handicapped. Mountain Cat shaped with more promise last time out but his efforts on quick ground are below par, so a bigger threat could be Cobo Bay who has won here before and is considered despite looking high enough in the weights. Sunnyside Tom dead-heated for second at Thirsk last time but was subsequently demoted into third but with the yard in good nick a bold run would come as no surprise to anyone, especially given his adaptability in regards to the ground. Not an easy puzzle despite the lack of numbers but the vote goes to Dubai Dynamo. [Nic Doggett]
