Verdict
Absa Lutte is a lovely mare but probably high enough in the weights so preference here is for MISPLACED FORTUNE ahead of Vesuvia. Nigel Tinkler's Compton Place mare has the visor back on today and she has run her best races in that particular headgear. Her run behind Tabaret last time out at Doncaster has since been franked by the winner and a bold bid is anticipated with Joe Fanning booked for the ride. Kerrys Requiem is consistent but arguably high enough in the weights, a comment that now doesn't apply to Favourite Girl who is fitted with first-time cheek-pieces as she drops down the handicap. Solstice is unexposed and lost little in defeat at Wolverhampton last time; she is considered on her turf debut, along with Esuvia who will relish the step back up in trip today. Elusive Sue made a pleasing reappearance at Beverley and represents a yard that can do no wrong, whilst Fayre Bella is unexposed but after her 100/1 shock maiden win she failed to settle when well-held at the same Ffos Las venue earlier this month. A fascinating race for fillies that can go to Misplaced Fortune. [Nic Doggett]
