OONDIRI looks to have the right credentials to win the last, though stablemate Saucy Girl and Burnt Cream are others with decent claims. The Tim Easterby-trained nomination races from a mark 5lbs lower than when running well here in defeat last September. That was over the minimum trip, but 6f should be no problem, and after a pipe-opener to put her straight for today she gets the vote. Saucy Girl is another Great Habton inmate who should be heavily involved. She also arrives here for her second start of the campaign and from a lowly mark of 56 she is respected. However, Burnt Cream may be a bigger danger. Bryan Smart's filly has shown promise in three starts to date, will love the ground, and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip. Vilnius is weighted to get very competitive from a mark 2lbs higher than his best win, and he handles both cut and faster ground, but Oondiri is given the vote. Jonathan Doidge.
