On the same terms as they met at Ripon on Thursday, if both of them turn up again 48 hours on then Abbondanza can confirm superiority over Caprio in this claimer, but both may have to give best to SAN CASSIANO. The selection was a debut scorer at Kempton last season but has struggled so far this time around in handicaps from marks of 90 and 89. This is a much easier task, given that he is much better off at the weights with his opponents than if they were contesting a handicap. Trip and ground are of no concern and with the stable firing he has a great chance of returning to winning ways. Abbondanza has found his level in these events and has to be respected. He is in cracking form and is most likely to take advantage if the selection fails to fire. Caprio is also very likely to be thereabouts. Last Sovereign has frame claims if able to produce his best, with conditions to suit, but few others should get into it and San Cassiano gets the nomination.
