Having looked through the field Michael's Pride looks to hold very strong claims here and can beat Celtic Carisma and Komreyev Star . Mark Johnston's filly was successful over seven furlongs at Leicester early last month, but showed she is just as effective over today's distance when chasing home Star Welcome. This race, if anything, is slightly weaker and she can regain the winning thread today. Komreyev Star was a beaten favourite over this trip at Nottingham last time but had previously been successful at Beverley over a mile. This extra couple of furlongs may catch him out again. Celtic Carisma hit form with a vengeance last time when beating stable companion I Got Rhythm, there could be more to come and off this low weight he looks the main threat to the selection. Mysteriosa could prove best of the others if she stays the trip, but Michaels Pride appears to have the best overall form and is a confident choice.
