In depth

Verdict

This is a very weak affair and a chance is taken with Loop The Loup, Sun Hill and Late Arrival may give him something to think about. Keith Reveley's nine-year-old was never competitive on his return to the flat at Catterick last month. His only other outing this year came in a class B hurdle at Cheltenham where he was well beaten. However he was running off a mark of 126, an indication of his past ability. He has been rated as high as 87 in the past and if he can get withing 20 pounds of that he should beat these rivals. The pick of Sun Hill's recent form was a second to Malarkey off a mark of 63. He has disappointed in two races since but if on a going day he should be involved in the finish. Late Arrival does at least have winning form, although it was in a weak seller. This however is not much better and he should make his presence felt. So not a race to risk too much of your hard earned, but Loop de Loup is our sporting selection.
