Verdict
Ten Downing Street is the clear form pick here and is chosen to beat Murfreesboro and the newcomer Khorkina. Jamie Osborne's colt has shown promise in two race to date. Those events at Haydock and Sandown appeared to be stronger than this contest and he looks certain to go close today with the benefit of the experience. John Gosden has to be respected when he sends his horses north and he runs Murfreesboro who is a nicely bred son of Bahamian Bounty. He made a very pleasing debut at Newbury and should be capable of plenty of improvement. Khorkina looks the best of the debutantes. She hails from the in form James Given's yard and this daughter of Soviet Star should be watched closely in the betting. However Ten Downing Street has already shown he has plenty of ability and he gets our confident vote.
