This is possibly the most open event on the card and a tentative vote is given to Knot In Wood, with Dispol Isle and Sake put forward as two worthy adversaries. Richard Fahey is double handed here as he also runs Choreographic, the mount of Paul Hannigan. However Knot In Wood looks the best of the pair having stayed on well to beat Superstitious at Carlisle last time. The extra furlong will hold no fears and a follow up victory is a distinct possibility. Dispol Isle is from a a shrewd yard and has been knocking on the door all season. A victory is not far away and a big run can be expected this afternoon. Sake has strong claims on his second behind Master Joseph at Newcastle recently and should be noted for any market move. Meanwhile both Sally Hall's Blue Opal, and Pat Haslam's Dennick are both open to improvement and may take a hand in the finish, but Knot In Wood looks to be on the upgrade and just edges the decision.
