Jaafi should improve on his debut run at Newmarket and looks to hold strong claims, however we do have a few nagging doubts and therefore we will side with Desert Stream, with Cape Enterprise the pick of the others. Desert Stream has obviously had his training problems as his one and only race to date came in a very good maiden at Gowran Park in June 2003. However he couldn't be in better hands now and this superbly bred colt will not have to be a world beater to get the better of these rivals. Jaafi showed plenty of promise behind Dubai Venture in that Newmarket event. However the form of the race hasn't worked out too well and the fact that his family all preferred soft ground is a major concern. He should still be involved in the finish as should Cape Enterprise who finished third in a competitive handicap at Goodwood last time. Hallucinate should prove to be the best of the others, but in a pretty modest affair a chance is taken with Desert Stream.
