This course and distance suited Mr Kalandi last time out and he is selected to go one better today. Storm Chase, Killena Boy and David's Symphony are all considered live contenders for the place money. David's Symphony has reportedly strengthened up nicely over the last six months and confirmed that he has trained on when winning a Banded race at Wolverhampton eleven days ago. A 6lb penalty combined with the step up in trip make his task a much harder one today and others may just have his measure near the finish. Killena Boy also has a penalty to contend with and has it to do off top weight. Still, he is an improving sort and should give a good account of himself. Storm Chase has been well backed in each of his last two starts. The booking of Jamie Spencer virtually assures that figure will increase and his value looks likely to diminish in the early scrimmaging of the betting. Therefore, we go with Mr Kalandi, who has much the better draw and, with experience of the course very much in his favour, he is fancied to make the return to Colwick Park as successful move this afternoon.
