Verdict

It doesn't get any easier in the finale and NAVENE is only a speculative selection to get the better of King Of The Moors and Kildare Sun. Strong support for Resentful Angel would also be dangerous to ignore. The last named went close at Warwick at the start of this month and, as this isn't any tougher, she is one to monitor carefully. Kildare Sun has started to show a liking for racing on turf of late and, having finished in the frame in each of his last two starts, he is a leading candidate to again claim a share of the prize-money. However, he is yet to win away from his beloved Wolverhampton, so needs to put a few ghosts to bed. King Of The Moors is a consistent type and having won off a 3lb higher mark in the past, he is potentially well treated. The market is likely to be a solid guide where he is concerned. However, it can also be worth taking a chance that Navene is ready and willing to make an impact on her seasonal debut. Chris Wall's mare is as honest as they come and, as she may be a different proposition now she has another year of strength to add to her profile; Navene is taken as the one to show up best in a very tough conclusion to the Nottingham card.
