Having made his debut in a valuable Ascot maiden, the Jeremy Noseda-trained KEY ART is the obvious one now he is dropped to this level. Dancing Freddie has already done enough to suggest he can win a race before too long and is respected as the main danger, while Radio City and Miss Lauz are others to monitor in the betting. Miss Lauz is a half-sister to a winning sprinter, so can be expected to have few problems regarding the trip. She does lack experience, though. So only a significant market move in her direction would swing the focus of attention away from the selection. Radio City ran green on debut but did show signs of ability. He can be expected to be a lot wiser for the run and, in Neil Callan, he teams up with a jockey who is currently riding at the top of his game. He may the surprise package but does appeal more as being more likely to pick up a nursery when he has bit more experience. Dancing Freddie has shown plenty of speed and enthusiasm in each of his start to date. He went down fighting at Catterick a fortnight ago and will no doubt give the selection cause for concern if he posts a similar effort this afternoon. However, Key Art, who holds an entry in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes amongst his possible targets, stands out as the one to be with on this occasion. He was far from disgraced at Ascot and, with that experience of taking on some of the supposed higher echelons of this year's crop, the son of Kheleyf is hard to ignore in this company.
