Eight pounds covers nine of this field on official ratings so this looks competitive. CHARGER and Meyyal appeal as the two to concentrate on though with Cotillion feared most from the remainder. We've opted to side with Jeremy Noseda's runner who was made favourite for a Newmarket maiden on his second start despite the presence of the highly rated Manifest in the field. That run looked disappointing at the time but he didn't run too badly when narrowly missing out at Goodwood last month and may be able to shed his maiden. Custody was behind that day and he may have more to fear from Meyyal who Richard Hills prefers to Merdaam. The Lambourn runner could be suited by this track having shown a fair level of form on all three starts and should find a race. Cotillion failed to run up to his best at Ripon whilst the Newmarket maiden in which he finished second on his penultimate start hasn't really worked out but he enters calculations. So, too, do Duke Of Burgundy who'll relish stepping back up in trip and Akbaband who may be better suited by further but they could struggle to contain the challenge of Charger.
