    Verdict

LADY ARTEMESIA shouldn't be far away in this contest whilst Muraweg and Wing Play could also feature. Dark Prospect looks high enough in the weights and has performed consistently in the main and could feature whilst he has a big swing in his weights with the selection. He was around a length and a quarter behind her at Warwick and in front of Muraweg and connections will be hopeful that blinkers can eke out further improvement. Muraweg represents the yard responsible for last year's winner, Expresso Star, and he may have raced too keenly when wearing headgear for the first time on his latest outing; he could be worth another chance. Special Reserve's two career successes have come at Windsor so he's taken on at this venue whilst Emperor Court looks high enough in the weights. Wing Play ran well at Newbury but his conversion rate on turf is only modest so we'll side with Lady Artemesia despite the fact that she only has a maiden win to accompany her four silver medals. The handicapper left her mark alone after Doncaster which is fair enough given her profile but her form has a solid and consistent look to it and Lady Artemesia may gain due reward this time around.
