      Verdict

      Another tough handicap rounds off the day's card in which we favour the claims of WILFRED PICKLES ahead of Last Sovereign and Watch Amigo. He's yet to win a race, but the few pounds weight advantage he has over most can see him lose the maiden tag and end a sequence of runners-up spots. The slight drop in trip is a positive. Last Sovereign's never won off as high a mark as he's on now which could be a slight concern. Watch Amigo likes to come from off the pace and has won two of his last four races, but may be in the grip of the handicapper for what he's achieved. Only one of Averoo's wins have come at this distance, with the other five being over six furlongs. Tricky and trappy with prefernce for Wilfred Pickles.
