Vital Statistics, Party and Light Shift are three against the field in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Vital Statistics. The selection was a fair sixth in a better race behind Gilded last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Party rates the main danger on his debut third behind Easy Lover. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and will not be far away. Light Shift is another worthy of respect as she is a well-bred Kingmambo filly, sister to the winning miler Erewhon, half-sister to numerous winners up to 1m4f including the Group winners Limnos & Shiva and she will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Of the remainder Keidas is another that catches the eye on breeding and should be noted in the market but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Vital Statistics to put his experience to good use.
