Tychy can make fitness tell over the reappearing Gallivant, with twilight Mistress a big danger along with Highland Shot. Based on last season's efforts, many will fancy Gallivant to overcome a long absence here, but Sir Michael Stoute's filly may be a bit high in the weights for her handicap bow on a mark of 90. Granted she looked good during her two wins last term but was put firmly in her place behind Airwave in a Listed race at Ayr. Has the handicapper over reacted, only time will tell, and with the doubt about her fitness, a chance is taken with Tychy who was in great form earlier in the season and who is beginning to come to hand again judged on her recent close second to Master Robbie at Ascot. She had earlier run a blinder at the Royal meeting in the Buckingham Palace Handicap and should soon gain reward for those efforts. With Kieren Fallon booked for Gallivant, Darryll Holland takes over which is no bad thing. Twilight Mistress is another running steadily into form, while Highland Shot, although having to give weight away all round, is a classy performer on her day. In what should prove to be a competitive affair, we take Tychy to get back to winning ways.
